The PSP Custom Firmware unlocks the power of the PSP. There is no physical modchip required, modified firmware (software that controls the hardware) is flashed (programmed) onto your PSP, no functionality is lost.

Currently the latest version we use is 5.50GEN-D3, Other firmware versions are available if requested. 

The only motherboard variation that cannot currently be modded is the 'TA-088v3' which has just starting appearing in psp slims. It is possible that you have the 'TA-088v3' if your psp came out of the box with 4.01, 4.05 firmware or if it was purchased overseas. So far we have not received any TA-088v3 PSP's that have been purchased in New Zealand. This can NOT be used with PSP 3000 consoles at all, as they all have the new motherboard.

• Installation is available via drop off/pick up at our service centre in Red Beach, Auckland, or via courier.
• Always send your PSP with a tracking number. We recommend CourierPost available from all NZ Post Shops nationwide. To send a PSP it will cost you $6.
• All we require is your PSP console, no cables, charger etc...
• Package your console well using bubblewrap and cardboard.
• Include a copy of your order/invoice number.
• Installation is carried out the same day we recieve your console and couriered back the following day. You will be able to check your installation/tracking process on your "My Account" page.
